Eric Eisenhammer is a tax fighter, conservative activist and award winning journalist. He recently concluded a year of service as a Legislative Aide and Senate Fellow to Senator Bob Dutton in the California State Capitol. Eric was one of only 18 young Californians selected from a pool of over 300 applicants for the prestigious Senate Fellowship program. Prior to his Fellowship, Eric served as Vice Chair of the 41st Assembly District Republican Central Committee in Los Angeles County and served as an intern for leading conservative State Senator Tom McClintock. Eric was a Founder of two successful College Republican clubs, the Moorpark College Republicans and California State University, Northridge College Republicans. At Moorpark College, Eric also served on the Associated Students Board of Directors as Director of Campus Events. Eric earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, Northridge. Besides Business, Eric studied Journalism and Radio/TV Production. For his work as Opinion Editor of the Moorpark College Reporter, Eric earned a first place award in Opinion Writing from California's statewide Journalism Association of Community Colleges. Eric graduated Agoura High School with honors, earning lifetime membership in the California Scholarship Federation. He was a member of the Math Honors Society and tutored Algebra students. He also studied Fine Art for four years. He enjoys reading books about politics and about his faith. Raised in southern California, Eric was involved in Calvary Community Church's technical services team, Campus Crusade for Christ and attended Church on the Way. Since his Fellowship brought him to Sacramento, Eric has been an active member of Capitol Foursquare Church. |
